Points to remember for effective fundraising:
1. Gift aid - 28% from every donation by UK taxpayers can be claimed, increasing your sponsorship total! All you have to do to benefit from Gift aid is ask your donors to complete a Gift aid form and send it in with their sponsorship (click here to download a Gift aid form). Alternatively, ensure that your donors tick the Gift aid box and complete their address on your sponsorship form - To download a sponsorship form click here.
2. Justgiving Page - To create your own online 'Justgiving' sponsorship page simply click here and complete the steps that follow. Then e-mail the link to all your friends and they can donate quickly and easily online - plus you can benefit from Gift aid from online donations from UK taxpayers. Just sit back and watch your sponsorship total grow!
3. Company Matched Giving Scheme - It is worth finding out if your company operates a Matched Giving Scheme, whereby they offer to match an amount or all of the sponsorship you raise, which is such a fundraising incentive!
Have fun while fundraising..be creative and proud of what you are doing...best of luck!
